Today, cell phones equipped with 1 megapixel or higher digital cameras are everywhere, and taking pictures with a cell phone has become the norm. One convenient product that reinforces camera phone functions to satisfy customers wanting to take wider, larger, higher quality photos is a magnet mount conversion lens called the DIGITAL KING 180°FISHEYE from Toda Seiko Co., Ltd.
The new lens features an exclusive magnet mount system that uses a powerful magnet and a metal mount ring. The metal mount ring is attached to the perimeter of the cell phone’s camera lens and then a magnetic lens is mounted to that metal ring.
Each conversion lens features a glass lens and an aluminum body to ensure reliable performance and durability.
In addition to the Fisheye lens, the product lineup includes a 2.0X telephoto lens, a 0.5X wide-angle lens, a 0.38X super-wide angle lens, and a 4X macro lens. The angle of view can be changed by merely mounting any one of these conversion lenses to a cell phone’s camera lens. The magnet mount system uses a powerful magnet rated at 1800 Gauss, and if the lens is properly mounted, it will not fall off by itself. However, just in case, each lens comes with a strap that fastens the lens to the cell phone.
