Does Flip Video camera work with other editing soft wares besides the one that it comes with?

I got a flip video camera for christmas instead of the nice professional one my mom was planning on getting me
I wanted to do serious film projects but I don’t even think I can use Imovie or anything besides the limiting flip editing system which I know is not accurate. . .
With this one, you can easily capture, edit and share your video like a pro,but it need to pay,if you have interested, just have a look.

The Flip can be used on multiple programs. Contact/research for Imovie(sorry, I’m a PC user), but I am possitive that it works for Windows Movie Maker & Sony Vegas[any verison]. I agree the Flip software deffiantly isn’t the greatest, it’s more for just sending e-mails. You can get more information on WMM & SV via Google. Downloads for WMM are avaible for Macs I believe…SV do cost money, Best Buy sells them at around $40.

I think that yes, you can use other editing softwares, because one, it would be really pointless if you could only use one, and i bet you could find a software to use it on. Try Imovie, if you already havent, otherwise look into some other editing systems to use.
By the way Im using my AMAZING laptop right now! In OC
